6 Events to Gear Up for Pride In The Park 2018 with TCC

In order to get you revved up for TCC's annual LGBTQ pride event, here's a list of things you can do leading up to pride to get more involved in the local queer community. Events range from networking to comedy to volunteer meetings, and while most are all-ages events, some do have age restrictions.

  1. Norwalk Coffee Talk - June 5, 2018, 11:00 AM

This bi-weekly daytime social program offers older adults and members of the LGBTQ community of all ages a space to discuss current events and new ideas. At Coffee Talk, participants can experiment with new activities like debate, art, field trips, meditation, and more. Program meetings coincide with the dates that This Ability meets so that participants may attend both consecutively if desired. This program offers a safe space for attendees to be themselves with a special welcome extended to LGBTQ older adults. Coffee Talk creates positive outreach and foster reliable and consistent support to program participants with a special focus on the creative mind.
