MON-FRI 10am – 6pm

Polyamory 101

About the event (18+):

“Wait, so you have two partners? Isn’t that just cheating?”

“What’s the difference between polyamory and swinging or an open relationship?”

“How do you deal with jealousy?”

“How do I tell my partner I’m curious about non-monogamy?”

“How do you meet people?”

Whether you’re monogamously inclined or a lifelong polyamorist, please join us for an interactive forum to learn more about polyamory, a form of ethical non-monogamy that’s often misunderstood.

We’ll go over some of the different forms of polyamorous relationships, some terminology, and some issues to be careful about if you’re new to non-monogamy or curious about giving it a shot. We will also talk about any questions you might have about it, and if we don’t have the answers we’ll try and help you find folks who do.

The event will start with a brief presentation, followed by a moderated discussion. We’ll have some handouts with information about additional resources (books, websites, etc.) for those of you who are new to the poly community or interested in learning more about it.

If you have some experience to share or specific questions you’d like us to address, please let us know when you RSVP to the event; feel free to submit stories or questions anonymously. This is a free event that is open to the public.
