Wednesday Night Movies

COME JOIN US on MAY 4 for the next 'Wednesday Night Movies @ TCC' - "THE BIG SHORT," hosted by Frank Gaffney.

Writer/director Adam McKay adapts Michael Lewis' best-seller, which centers on the housing a credit bubble of the 2000s. The all-star cast includes Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt.

The film was nominated for FIVE Oscars: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor (Christian Bale), Best Film Editing and it did win Best Adapted Screenplay (Adam McKay and Charles Randolph).

Rotten Tomatoes gave it an 88%, stating, “THE BIG SHORT approaches a serious, complicated subject with an impressive attention to detail -- and manages to deliver a well-acted, scathingly funny indictment of its real-life villains in the bargain.”

Attendees will vote on the next movie selection.
