Support Pride
Pride happens every day at Triangle Community Center.
As we celebrate Pride in the Park on June 8, TCC is working around the clock. That work brings Pride to our community every day.
Pride began as an act of survival. Our community rose up and acted to protect themselves and people whose most basic personal needs: food, job security, housing, basic rights and dignity-- were unmet.
While the landscape is different today, our community still faces radical challenges. In Connecticut, the LGBTQ community is more likely to be food insecure, unemployed, and homeless than its peers. The spirit of Pride informs what TCC does to help people face those challenges. Every day, people count on TCC for case management, to connect people with life-saving resources like competent medical care, housing. Every day, Pride happens at TCC in our support groups where people get connected with a community just like them as it cannot be found elsewhere: we provide a refuge at our drop-in space, offer trainings to local organizations and businesses so that our community can get the care it deserves, and a one-of-a-kind therapy program at discounted rates.
Pride happens every day at TCC. Make a donation today to support Pride in the Park and TCC's services year-round.
