About Us
Fairfield County’s Premier LGBTQIA+ Community Center
Since 1990, Triangle Community Center (TCC) has been a home, a hub, and a lifeline for LGBTQIA+ people across Fairfield County. As the region’s largest nonprofit exclusively serving queer and trans communities, we’re here to walk alongside you - and every member of our community - through moments of need, growth, celebration, and connection. Our mission is simple but powerful: to empower and advocate for LGBTQIA+ people in Connecticut through community, health, and learning. And everything we do is grounded in the belief that you belong.
At TCC, support looks like personalized, one-on-one care coordination that helps people navigate housing, healthcare, mental health, and financial stability. It looks like a stocked food pantry, a clothing closet, a shower, a laundry room, computers, and micro-grants for emergency expenses. It also looks like joy and support - through vibrant programs and peer groups that meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly for connection, healing, celebration, and creativity. Whether you’re a queer parent, an LGBTQIA+ teen, an older adult, someone in recovery, or just looking for community, there’s a space for you here. And when June comes around, you’ll find us at Pride in the Park, where over 10,000 people gather in celebration of queer joy and resilience.
But our work doesn’t stop at the doors of our center. TCC offers training and education that helps schools, healthcare providers, businesses, and service agencies become more inclusive and affirming of LGBTQIA+ people. We believe that systems change starts with understanding, and we’re building a future where every space is one of equity, dignity, and belonging.
Whether you’re looking for support, ready to give back, or curious to learn more, we invite you to be part of this movement. Come in. Come as you are. There’s a place for you at TCC.
