Whether you’re looking to lend a helping hand, share your resources, or contribute to our seasonal and year-round support programs, there are many ways to be part of our vibrant LGBTQIA+ community.

Volunteer with TCC

While we have limited ongoing volunteer opportunities, your time and energy can still make a meaningful impact! Our needs vary depending on the time of year and upcoming programs.

We occasionally seek volunteers to support:

  • Special events like Pride in the Park and our annual Gala

  • Short-term projects and seasonal initiatives

  • Administrative or behind-the-scenes support at the center

In-Kind Support

Community Pantry

Our community food pantry provides shelf-stable and culturally appropriate groceries to LGBTQIA+ individuals and families facing food insecurity.

We accept:

  • Grocery gifts cards and Costco gift cards

  • Hygiene items like toothpaste, soap, and menstrual products

  • If your group is interested in running a food drive, we ask that you email us at info@ctpridecenter.org before organizing a drive or dropping off items.

Holiday Assistance Program

Each year, TCC supports LGBTQIA+ families and individuals during the holiday season with gift cards, toys, warm clothing, and festive meals.

You can help by:

  • Donating new toys or winter gear

  • Providing grocery store or general-purpose gift cards

  • Adopting a family’s wish list

Details about this program are posted each fall. Contact us to get involved early or learn about sponsoring a family.

Silent Auctions

Each year, our signature Fall Gala brings together community members and allies for a night of celebration, inspiration, and impact. A highlight of the evening is our silent auction, which helps raise vital funds to support TCC’s programs year-round.

We’re currently seeking donated items such as:

  • Gift cards to local restaurants, shops, or services

  • Tickets to concerts, shows, or sporting events

  • Travel, dining, or spa experiences

  • Unique packages that showcase your business or talent

By contributing to the auction, you not only support our mission, you also gain visibility among hundreds of engaged and generous guests.

Gender-Affirming Closet

Our closet offers free clothing, accessories, and personal care items for trans and nonbinary community members.

Current needs include:

  • New undergarments (all sizes)

  • Chest binders and shapewear (all sizes)

  • Coats (all sizes)

All items should be clean and in good condition. Due to limited storage space, we ask that you email us at info@ctpridecenter.org before organizing a drive or dropping off items.
